when they look better than they taste

It was a friend's birthday and we had a mini celebration! We got these mini cupcakes that looked so pretty. But with good looks comes high expectations. The cupcakes didn't taste quite as good as they looked. They were a tad dry and the sugar frosting was, well... sugary and tasteless...

However, we also got an old faithful: the Da Paolo Tiramisu! That is a tried and tested cake. Love the layers of sponge, cream & kahlua.
