Brani at a prata cafe.

Just across the street from my office is a stretch of pubs and restaurants. After 5, this area buzzes with life as people drop in for a drink after the day.

One of these stalls is The Prata Cafe. It's probably the cheapest F&B outlet in that stretch. (I don't know how they survive coz even at $1 a prata, the margin is so small) And now being the World Cup season, they also have live screenings of the World Cup! So it's technically possible to spend $2.50 for a cup of teh and 2 prata and watch a football match.
That was what I did at 4pm the other day. Somehow everyone didn't manage to make time for lunch and by 4 we were all starving. We trooped down looking for food and realised that we could sit there and watch a repeat telecast of the Slovakia Italy match.

The Mutton Nasi Brani cost $4.50. Achaar was way too salty. But the rice was rather fragrant. Mutton was yummy too! But I think the curry was a little too strong for my stomach. I didn't feel too good after the meal.
