Freshco

Freshco is a teeny tiny stall in the basement of OUB building that serves up some great home cooked Japanese food. It's kinda out of the way and hidden from the view of a typical passerby coz most people will be distracted by the Brownie Factory's display of brownies. So discovering this little outlet and realizing it serves up good food is like finding a gem!

The restaurant has a menu but most of the items are already on the wall of the restaurant (btw, there are only 2 walls in that restaurant) so ordering is a breeze coz I know what I am getting!

I ordered the Yuzo Miso Bento set and boy was I glad I ordered it! The rice was lovely - it was filled with mushrooms. Yum! The Yuzo Miso was a pork dish and it has got to be the best combination of sweet and sour ever! Every mouthful of the delicious and tender meat was to be savored. The grilled pumpkin and eggplant were also great!
I can't wait to go back any try the other items on the menu!
