The 6 months of 2004 that I spent in Europe for my student exchange were unforgettable. Now, the memories are online! (also a chance to see a long haired, blonde highlighted, pre-plastic surgery me)

Those 6 months were significant. Almost life changing. It opened my eyes to a whole new world out there. I saw cultures, scenery and beauty, even horrors and wickedness and in the midst of it, hope and perseverance. It's a different experience from watching the National Geographic channel.

Thanks to Good O' Vince for taking time to post these pics online! When will our next backpacking trip be?!??

Joshua talks investment

In times of financial uncertainty, when stock markets are tumbling, it is not the best time to buy pieces for the wardrobe. It is time to invest in the wardrobe!

Tada:

The Grand Carrera. The 1st mechanical movement engineered with the rotating system, inspired by the most contemporary and technically advanced GT cars.

Mine is the Calibre 6 in Black dial and black alligator strap. I've always wanted a leather strap watch - makes the entire look more elegant. And finding out my latest purchase is alligator was an added bonus!

Stay tuned for more financial advice from me!

road works

I was driving from Marina Shopping Center to the AYE the other day and I saw the roads being prep for the F1. It's pretty exciting to drive along the roads with the protective fencing at the sides. Makes me feel like an F1 driver! Woo hoo!

in the mail

Imagine my surprise when I saw a letter addressed to me from MoE asking me to be a teacher. How do the folks at MoE know that my bond is ending? Is there a HR sharing between MoE and MoD???

Anyway, it says "The knowledge and experience that you've gained since your graduation could prove valuable in guiding the generations of tomorrow. Share it. Be a teacher."

Well, I really doubt my skills of compiling reports, preparing presentations, minuting meetings and answering like hell when something goes wrong would be useful to a kid in school. Plus, I don't see myself as a teacher - as evident below:
