Naan & Curry

It was one of those days where my parents were not home in the evening and I had no dinner. So it's either I pack food home, I ate alone before I headed home or I call someone out for dinner. I called my friend whom I haven't met in ages out and he was free! Yay! And since we stayed so close each other, it just made sense to eat somewhere near us.

We went to Al Azzar, a popular eating spot, especially for late night supper. I had a craving for naan and that was what I ordered!

The pureed spinach and cottage cheese was a little disappointing. I thought it was too pureed and creamy and the cottage cheese, while supposed to be a mildly flavored cheese, lacked any sort of taste! And it had a hard texture and my friend thought initially that it was potatoes. The butter chicken rarely disappoints and here it was good!

The naan was also good! Fragrant garlic naan and a plain naan! And everything was washed down with a cold cup of ice teh. Yum.
