My Friend's stall at Maxwell

My friend's family has got a stall at Maxwell market. She boasts - It's the ONLY place in Singapore (and perhaps the world) where you can eat this:
And that is a really yummy bowl of Mien Xian in a starchy egg drop soup base and generously filled with minced pork balls and crabsticks. Truly one of a kind and very delicious - especially if the weather outside was wet like the day I ate it..

The next dish is Pig Trotter Bee Hoon. So sinful.

We also had Fried Oyster Omelette (from another stall) wile waiting for the food to arrive. Just look at the plump and juicy oysters! Love it when the floor and egg bits are fried till crispy - but this one failed to meet the mark.

Oh... and there was a Fried Yam & Water Chestnut Ball. It was definitely interesting mix - with the crunchiness of the water chestnut and starchiness of the yam.
